This article explains how to set up and build your team compositions.

Account settings - Create positions and composition templates

  1. Create team positions.


  2. Create team compositions template and add the positions and how many of that position related to that composition set up.


Build a team composition

  1. Go to resources
  2. Edit a team and select a composition that fits for the team and the project they will work on. 

    Once you save the team changes, personnel can be assigned and allocated to positions within the team. 

Locate personnel in positions

  1. Add a rotation to a personnel

  2. Select team and a position


  3. Go to team and see who is assigned to each position for today's job


Manage personnel positions

From the team edit screen, you can view the team positions and the Assigned status for each position.

When you first create a team featuring a team composition, the Assigned status for all positions defaults to Pending.

Once you have assigned a member of personnel to a position, it will show as Assigned.

You can manually update Assigned positions to Unassigned or Pending and Pending positions to Unassigned. If you update an Assigned position, you are required to delete any rotations which assign personnel to the position.

You can only update an Unassigned or Pending position to Assigned by locating personnel in that position.

Delete team positions using the x icon on the right side of the table row.

If the position you are deleting is Assigned, this action will also delete the rotations that assign any personnel to the position.

Manpower download

  1. Go to resource calendar 
  2. Click Download and Manpower plan
  3. Select the team/teams



  4. Click export
    In the example you will see two teams and personnel assign to them. For Service team 1 - Daniel is assigned to the team and working but with no work package/project assigned. For Service team 2 - Felix is a Team lead with a project assigned during that period, Elmo is one out of the two electricians in the team.

    The position column is sorted as added in the team composition template in the team modal. There are no limitations as to how many personnel can be assigned to a position, so extra positions will be added at the end of each team list.

    This is to support you to see what positions are covered and who covers them for a given project.
