• Q: Will the simulation output change if I run the same case multiple times? 
  A: This depends on whether you're running a Design Construction or Design O&M case:
  • Design Construction: Simulation outputs will be identical if you run the same case with the same simulation settings multiple times. The only time your output might differ on the same case is if you run a simulation again after a Shoreline release, whether for bug fixes, enhancements, or new features.
  • Design O&M: Simulation outputs will always vary, as failure distribution is randomized.

• Q: Why does my simulation fail?
  A: Have you checked if there are any notifications? These will guide you to set up the case - click on the bell icon in the top right corner. If there is nothing here, and the simulation still fails, please don't hesitate to reach out to support!

• Q: My weather matrix does not allow me to select certain criteria, as they selections are greyed out.
  A: If the weather type you are trying to select is greyed out, this usually means that the weather data is not included in your weather file when it was imported. Please see Adding Weather files to the Input library
  
  

• Q: When is my subcontractor utilisation more than 100%?
  A: Because of how the subcontractor utilisation is calculated. Please see this article.

• Q: Why is the ERA5 weather data is missing some weather criteria?
  A: The ERA5 weather data is provided by Copernicus, and if there are missing any weather data, it will be 'NaN'. Please read more about it in this article.
  
  
• Q: Why does my vessel only follow the custom route sailing FROM the wind farm, but not while sailing TO the wind farm?
  A: This happens when the first step in the custom route is not the exact same coordinates as the port itself.
