Personnel could be e.g. the technicians, a planner, a site manager. For each employee, a mixture of personal information should be added. Periods of unavailability could also be added. 

For seeing, adding and editing of personnel, the Resources tab needs to be used.

To add a new employee, go to 'Teams', then click on 'Add new personnel'.


The window that pops up is the same window as to when editing a user; instructions to this are as follows:

1. Click on 'Edit' or 'Add new personnel'

2. Edit general information about an employee clicking on 'Edit' or 'Add new personnel', the following window will appear. In the first tab, the general information about the employee can be filled in.

EmailxThe e-mail address is used to send the necessary information to the employee via the username
Phone The phone number can be filled in as additional information
PermissionxThe permission defines the type of user in the tool, the rights in the system depends on the permission
PasswordxThe password is necessary for the login
LocationPersonnel can be tied to one location at a time and can be scheduled to be on other locations in the future. The personnel on location will also be displayed on the site overview map on the dashboard
Skill The skills are the various individual qualifications an employee can have. Find more information in the following articles about skills on personnel
Skill groups The skill groups of one employee are the grouped skills for which the employee has all of the necessary single qualifications
Documents
Files can be dragged and dropped or uploaded here. Size is max 50MB. The personnel files are managed by permission rights. Acceptable files are: 
  • Images: PNG, JPG, GIF, BMP 
  • Text: TXT, PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, PPT, PPTX, ODS, ODT, ODP
  • Audio/video: WAV, MP3, MP4, MPEG
  • Binary: CSV, ZIP

The users need to know when certain qualifications or skills will expire on their employees. The user can add a start and end date to all skills associated with employees.

Only the teams with the necessary qualifications will be planned in the scheduling for the work orders. The requested qualifications could be related to:
  • Work order: professional qualifications needed in a team (it is possible that every team member does not need the same qualification)
  • Asset: safety qualification asset which every single technician needs to have
  • Transportation: safety qualification which every single technician needs to have to enter the transportation
When the technicians don't possess the necessary qualification, the scheduling will not generate a plan.
